Flaming Burrito Grill in Auburn

Reallly friendly cashier and cook. Store is clean and well kept. Food portions are large and every bite of my carne asada burrito was a good bite. Salsas are all fresh and the chips are crisp. At $12 bucks for a burrito that’s a little more than I’m used to paying but it was money well spent. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meals. Plus the cashier filled up my cooler with ice, so that was nice.

Cute little hole in the wall place. But be prepared to pay, because wow, its expensive. I got the fajita burrito, and it was $13.50. So I was expecting it to be super big, or super fancy and it was neither. Just a typical taqueria burrito. My husband and I each got a burrito, I got a side of rice and beans and no drinks and the total came out to $30. So it's a pretty expensive lunch. Tasty, but expensive.

Food is amazing and hospitality is definitely there! One of my favorite Mexican food places out there and I've been to quite a few! Their complimentary chips and salsa is top notch with several options on the salsa and the hot is actually hot! That five star average rating is NO JOKE. Definitely make sure to give this place a try if you're in Auburn or even just visiting because it does not disappoint. I'll be visiting whenever I'm in town for sure!

Our favorite burrito place in Auburn. The service is great, they're always super nice and friendly, and even though you order at the counter, they come out to check how your meal is at least once. They have lots of salsa options and they are tasty! Maybe one of these days I'll branch out from my normal, I'm sure whatever you choose will be delicious.

This place is awsome, all food made fresh daily, everything is made with love, and comes through in the taste. You gotta dig a little when it comes to price but you won't regret it and portions are hefty, a rare quality of food at a reasonable price don't hesitate to stop. It's top notch and a very clean restaurant to boot.

I moved here from the bay area about 5 years ago, and I've been searching for a good place for burritos. I've finally found it. The Flaming Burrito is a family owned restaurant who are all very friendly and helpful. They offer an assortment of burritos that are made with fresh ingredients. The meat and vegetables are nicely cooked and have a lot of flavor. I'm especially impressed by the consistency of quality. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great burrito.

Amazing food amazing owners!! This is my go to spot for amazing food period in auburn. We try so many places but it is 90% yuk rate. Very picky about my food and this place is fresh and the carnitas and carne Asada is amazing!!

We found this great place by looking up reviews. We contracted with them to provide a taco bar for our son and daughter-laws rehearsal dinner, which was held at Knee Deep Brewery in September. From ordering, to pick up, and returning of a few of their borrowed items, the service they provided was impeccable!! All in attendance absolutely loved the food as well. The owner/cook, helped guide me through the ordering process and I couldn't be happier about how it all turned out and it didn't break the bank!! Thank you for the wonderful food and service!

We ordered Grilled Chicken Super Burrito and Carne Asada Quesadilla. Both were great. Chicken was very tender and tasty. Quesadilla came with real steak meat; it was really great. First time I have seen a real steak meat used in the dish. Keep it up!!! I recommend Quesadilla; you will not regret. Chips are very good too. Salsa bar is super nice and tasty.Good clean place, great customer service!!!!! Keep up great work!!!

Rough experience, drove here specifically for the reviews and had a rough customer service experience. This is the one Mexican Restaurant that won't add spicy salsa to your burrito. Spicy salsa in burritos is amazing and minimal effort. I would love an opportunity to change my review if this was a one off experience or if *policy* changes. In my book a 4+ star rating means above average customer service as well.

Best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. Warm authentic chips and staff. Eat one, chat with the other. The chef came to ask how our food was. Guac was fresh with the perfect amount t of lime. Veggie burrito was $11 and they asked if I was vegetarian to make sure nothing in there had touched meat products. Spend your money here!

Let me start by saying the staff was great. Everyone was incredibly nice and really accommodating as far as options for food goes. Next up, let me talk about the Salsa Bar. It had 8 different salsas from mild all the way to too hot. I like the 3rd hottest a lot, but that was just me. There were several variations as well, green, red, chunky, liquidy. IN short, it was a fine Salsa Bar.Now for the burrito, I got a Steak California Burrito w/ Avocado instead of Guacamole. Basically, it was Steak, Cheese, Tater Tots and Avocado. I'm a big fan of the Tot, and having it in a burrito was a new experience. And a worthwhile one. Crunchy and Tasty. I would definitely return here.

we have been to flaming burrito about three times now. We find that we go out of our way when were in Auburn to go to that place specifically. We always order the carnitas burrito and it is consistently good. The husband and wife that owned it and cook, always make everyone feel welcome. We look forward to returning.

Excellent! This place has BAR NONE the best salsa I've ever had. They make it fresh from scratch every day and it shows. You won't believe your taste buds! I've had many of their salads and burritos. The Beer-battered fish burrito is my favorite. Five out of FIVE.

This place is a gem! I got thg he burrito bowl with carnitas and it was amazing, the carnitas was both tender and just slightly crispy and the bowl was family size... the tacos are amazing as well. Couple that with wonderful service and super nice people and you get a real gem. Highly recommend.

Best Mexican food I have found since leaving San Diego. The Cali carne Asada burrito is spot on and great amount of meat. The service was fantastic and We will be back often.
